London Bridge Variations

A set of 11 fantastic variations based on “London Bridge”, in the style of several famous composers: Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Brahms, Ravel, Rachmaninoff, Hindemith, Stravinsky and J. Strauss.

This is a long work (30 minutes). These variations are beautiful compositions in their own right and worthy of full concert presentation. However, movements can easily be extracted as humorous diversions for “pops” concerts, or used in an educational setting as a basis for a discussion on form and style. Variations range in difficulty from easy to extremely advanced. Some movements might be of great use for student ensembles.
